    Rockman Animation DVD

    Here's another link.

    I got this from a fellow Rockman fan. I know it comes out on October 11th. I'm not sure if it'll be on sale on Capcom's website only or if it'll be widely released. It seems to be an old cartoon (1994-95 I believe it says). There's a movie link I think on the second link above.

    Anybody who can read Japanese give me some help? Also, Sevenforce... or anyone else living in Japan, I know some people who are interested, if you can snag this DVD for them (I'm still considering it), they might be able to make it worth your while. Thanks.

    Storywise: A little boy is playing Rockman on his Famicom system when a bizarre accident warps Rockman into the real world. Dr. Wily probably ends up following him to the real world I think...

    Thanks Shou-sama... it's kind of a bummer.

    Another thing that pisses me off is that there's about 3 episodes, ONE EPISODE PER DVD. Way to go Capcom.

  6. Japanese direct-to-video releases (OAVs) are usually done with one ep per DVD/tape, simply because the episode costs so much to produce and it's not got a company backing it for TV broadcast. That's also why there usually aren't many episodes per OAV series. When/if an OAV ever gets to the US, the domestic companies usually put more than one ep on a disc.

    Hmm, I didn't know that. And I thought 3 or 4 ep. per DVD was ridiculous at $25/30 a pop. :/ Then again, coffee goes for $10 a cup over there...
