I'll pick up the cube version eventually. Gotta have the 4-player.
From what I played, it was VERY much like goldeneye. In fact, the level seemed like a rip-off of the Dam level from goldeneye.
The PS2 and Xbox versions are out now, Cube version on October 15th. IGNPS2 reviewed the PS2 version and gave it a 9.2. Their review also was very nitpicky and munchkiny, like most of their reviews, but still 9.2 is promising. They critisized the game for not having a deep enough story (Story in a FPS who gives a shit, I hate this huge movement going on now that every videogame needs an epic story to be fun to play), for not being online playable, for being hard, ect. When a reviewer disses a game for not having an epic story AND being "too difficult", I think they should lose their job. Anyway, I can't wait to get this game on Cube, anyone else excited about it?

Considering the Dam level from Goldeneye is one of the greatest videogame levels ever, I don't think that's a bad thing...
I hope there is an Archives level...
Man, this got me thinking. Goldeneye had such great levels.
ill wait to try out the cube level
The plan is to play AC constantly until the 15th when it comes out on Cube, but Nook's store was closed for renovation today and I beat Starfox yesterday, so I was kinda fucked. BTW Starfox has one of the best endings I've seen in a videogame in a long time, really killer ending.
I'll get... no version. I hated Goldeneye, and I'll hate this.
I've got it on preorder, but it looks like the X-Box version has been pushed back about a week.

Haven't decided which version to get yet, but I'll definately be picking it up. Can't wait to take a crack at the Old West level.
Look out, man, Wooly's gone ape-shit.
