Screwed
I picked up a few albums over the past couple weeks for pennies and two of them happen to have odd bumps in the vinyl towards the outter edge (like a divot of sorts) and I was wondering if there was a safe way to "re-flatten" the vinyl w/o trashing the music grooves.
Do any of the TNL Music Elite have any hints on this or am I screwed?

Screwed
Yeah, screwed. I mean, there's the oven or sun melting techniques, but that's if one whole side of the vinyl is warp. Tiny divots? Yeeesh.
Use an iron.

now you know why they were pennies.
Yeah like think of a thumb sized dent alongside the outtermost edge of the record and that's what these two lp's have. Barely affects the playing of the record but it's weird how they got there in the 1st place and I'd like to get rid of them if I could safely do it. Perhaps I'll put a moderately heavy book on top of the vinyl.

I guess you should probably cut it out before you fuck your record up more.
