Like the
Teamsters, these guys are pack mules of your island. They
spend half their day out in the sun, moving crates and sacks onto
the ships (and most of the rest shooing seagulls away). You
get paid when the goods move onto the freighters, so these guys are
the vital last link in the resource chain. Sure, it's an
uneducated job and the number of dockworkers needed is much lower
than farmers and teamsters, but don't forget that these guys are
important.
