Ready for a new RPG to enjoy while you're on the go? Enix of America has delivered new details, along with a first look at Dragon Warrior 3, the latest RPG to hit the GameBoy Color and will be released here in North America July 2001.

Known as Dragon Quest in Japan, the Dragon Warrior series is one the top selling Japanese videogames of all time. Continuing the story chronicled in Dragon Warrior I&II (recently covered here on TNL); released in September 2000 for Game Boy, Dragon Warrior III is based on the classic 1991 role-playing game for the NES and follows the saga of a 16 year-old hero who pursues his father's warrior legacy. Dragon Quest III is one of the top selling games in the series that pioneered the console RPG genre and this Summer, you'll get to experience the excellence first hand. Prepare to embark on an adventure that will take you into a world of deserts, mountains, pyramids, towers and dungeons (you know, the typical RPG elements that you've come to grow and love); to unlock a secret that sets the stage for the legend of Dragon Warrior.
