Universal Studios Interactive has given us a first-hand look at the upcoming GameBoy Color title, inspired by the new film of the same name, The Mummy Returns.

Mummy Returns puts the mysteries of Ancient Egypt in the palm of your hand. As the hero, Rick O' Connell or the evil Imhotep, players enjoy rich graphics and varied, action-packed gameplay elements including platform, hand-to-hand combat, 1st person shooter, 3rd person shooter and twitch.

Featuring new vehicles and environments, players once again engage in heated battle against pygmy mummies, scarabs, snakes spirits and sandstorms. As O'Connell, players find themselves on a dangerous mission to fight Imhotep, seize the sacred bracelet, destroy the Scorpion King and save the world from destruction once and for all!
